this olde house

I live in a house that was built in 1893. It's not been loved very much since then.

For some reason, my wife and I bought this house in 1990 and have been working on it ever since. We've done a bunch of stuff, but there is always more...

This section of the site will have information about what we have done, and maybe some pictures sometime.

Finally! I am finally adding some content to this page. Sheesh. Well, it's not like we haven't been working on the house, just that I haven't been taking digital photos and making web pages. But one of my 2005 New Years Resolutions (okay, my only resolution) is to take more digital photos and put them on my web site. So here we go.

01 May 2005 I patched a crack in the bedroom wall. The photo gallery is right here.
08 Jan 2005 I repaired (replaced actually) a 3 foot section of the parquet inlay in the floor of the dining room. This section of floor has been water damaged or something and was patched with some wood filler. We are going to have the floor refinished soon, so I pulled up the bad stuff, made a bunch of little pieces and rebuilt it. Here is the photo gallery.
