This is the fabulous "server room" at Chez Foreman
Top Shelf (l to r): Pentium 166 based firewall, 8 port Netgear hub, IBM Intellistation (main server) with dual PIII 550MHz CPUs and 1GB RAM, 20/40GB DLT Tape drive.
Second Shelf: KVM Switch, crappy monitor
Third Shelf: Brand new APC Back-UP Pro 1100 UPS
Not pictured to the left is an APC Managed power strip and the Cisco 678 DSL Modem
The servers live on a shelf in my basement. They got moved to the basement the week that the Code Red and Nimda worms came out. Until that week they had lived in a room next to my bedroom.
The night that the worms hit I was awakend from my sleep by the ticking of the hard drive in my server logging all the web page hits.
