Yesterday I posted two entries to my blog about the sidecar:
In them I talked about the fact that the motorcycle wouldn't start in the morning and what the problem was.
I have also ordered some parts from J.C. Whitney to hopefully attach the steering damper and also a replacement fuse block to replace the falling apart stock one.
I modified (cut up with a hacksaw and utility knife) the right side cover last night to fit over the sidecar strut mounting point and I have to say it looks pretty sharp.
This morning on the way to work the instrument cluster went dead because of the bad fuse block (luckily the bike kept running) so I'm going to stop at Radio Shack and pickup another pair of in-line fuse holders to install until the fuse block gets here.
I have also sprayed the seat cushions for the sidecar with Febreeze now and that seems to be helping with the smell. It now smells more like Febreeze and less like cat piss. :)
I still need to change the brake fluid and make a new rear brake lever. I should really do those things.
The fun just never stops.
